Tech:NYC Statement on the Brooklyn Queens Connector (BQX) Streetcar Project

Tech:NYC released this statement following the de Blasio administration's new report on the proposed BQX streetcar project:

"The Brooklyn-Queens waterfront has been a hotbed for tech growth in the city, but without reliable transportation options it will struggle to reach its full potential. This report makes clear that the BQX would help solve this problem by reducing travel times and serving as a vital connector for people living and working along its route. The BQX would create opportunity not just for Brooklyn and Queens, but for the city as a whole. Today's report shows the city's commitment to this important project and we're encouraged to see this vision coming into focus."
