Tech:NYC Statement on Trump Administration Ending DACA

In response to the Trump Administration's decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy, Tech:NYC has issued the following statement:

"Ending DACA is not only morally wrong, but it would eliminate nearly 800,000 young Americans eligible for our workforce. By rejecting Dreamers’ talent and contribution to our economy, the Trump Administration is limiting the potential of businesses across the country, including those here in New York. Our ecosystem and our economy are strongest when we embrace diversity and inclusivity, which is why we support DACA and Dreamers here in New York and nationwide. We urge Congress to immediately make DACA's protections law."
