Tech Year NYC:
NFT Gallery
In addition to receiving real work experiences and professional skills development this summer, Tech Year NYC introduced students to the emergent world of web3 and blockchain-based applications through the distribution of custom NFTs. While only a small percentage of NYC tech jobs today fall into the crypto or blockchain sector, we believe this is a growing part of our ecosystem, and early exposure to new technological applications helps students consider new possibilities for their careers.
As a special thank you to our students and volunteers who participated in Tech Year NYC, we worked with several NYC-based artists to create this gallery of NFTs. One unique NFT was released each week of our program based on the content covered that week in the program
All of our NFTs were created using Primitives and inspired by the very city we all call home.
Special thanks: program director Bethany Crystal, project manager Jack Dillé, Primitives founder David Gabeau, and each of the artists featured below.
