Ajit Mohan
Chief Business Officer, Snap Inc.
Ajit Mohan is the Chief Business Officer of Snap Inc. where he oversees the company’s global advertising business including its revenue product and business operations.
He previously served as the company’s APAC President where he grew the company’s operations in China, India, Vietnam, Australia and Singapore. Prior to Snap, he was the Vice President and Managing Director of India for Meta for four years. As a part of 21st Century Fox, Ajit was the founding CEO at Hotstar, where he conceptualized, launched, and built Hotstar into India's leading premium video streaming platform.
Ajit spent five years at McKinsey & Company, first in New York in its media practice, and two years as a Fellow at the McKinsey Global Institute. His work in New York City included supporting the Robin Hood Foundation’s Single Stop program.
Ajit has served on the boards of Jio Platforms, India’s largest telecommunications and digital company, as well as Johns Hopkins India. He is a board member at the Museum of Art and Photography (MAP) in Bangalore, one of India’s first private museums and cited in National Geographic’s Best of the World 2024.
He is a graduate of the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Economics and International Relations and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with an MBA in Finance. He did his undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering at NTU in Singapore as a Singapore Airlines/Neptune Orient Lines Scholar.
